CLASH of TITANS showcases the insane strength that can be gained from all different styles of training!  Almighty competitors representing regional fitness organizations take part in battles comprised of the most demanding strength exercises known to mankind.  Exercises from various fitness disciplines are executed to reveal the area’s strongest.

Battles take place at Calisthenics Revolution Gym in Springfield, VA, the D.M.V. area’s first bodyweight training gym.

Teams of 4 from various fitness disciplines compete head-to-head in this EPIC BATTLE of STRENGTH, ENDURANCE and WILL POWER!

Official Battle Rules:

  • Ages: 14+
  • Each Team submits 3 Exercises to be voted upon:
    • 1 from each Category:
      • Olympic/Power/Strongman Lifts
      • (Weighted) Bodyweight Exercises
      • Alternative Strength Exercise
    • All exercises must have a weight component (as a percentage of each team member’s bodyweight)
    • Exercises are limited to Barbells, Weight Plates, Pullup Bars, Parallel Bars, Floor and Accessories
    • Examples: Deadlift, Overhead Squat, Weighted Pullup, Weighted Dip, Farmers Carry, etc.
  • Poll will be created on Facebook and each Team will vote on the Exercises (must select at least 8 Exercises, and at least 2 from each Category)
  • Top 4 and Top 8 Exercises will be chosen for the battles as outlined below.  Top 4 must contain at least 1 Olympic Lift, 1 Bodyweight Exercise and 1 Alternative Strength Exercise. Top 8 must contain at least 2 of each.
  • Each Team must appoint 1 Team Captain, 1 Judge and 1 Timer from their Team
  • All Exercises must be performed with STRICT FORM and must be judged fairly – demonstrations of proper form will be given before the competition starts and Judges will be held accountable by EVERYONE
  • Coach Teams compete against other Coach Teams, Member Teams against other Member Teams
 

Official Battle Plan:

  • Round 1:
    • Each Team competes for fastest time in Top 1-8 Exercises – Exercise Order to be determined and announced prior to battle
    • Each Team Member must complete 2 exercises (not necessarily back-to-back), and must finish each Exercise before the next can begin
    • Teams will be timed and ranked in order from fastest to slowest, i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th – slowest Team will be eliminated at this point
    • Each Team will pick 1 Timer and 1 Judge (cannot be from your Team) to time and judge their Team
  • Round 2:
    • 1st Team goes ‘head-to-head’ against 4th Team
    • 2nd Team goes ‘head-to-head’ against 3rd Team
    • Teams compete ‘head-to-head’ for first to complete Top 5-8 Exercises – Exercise order to be determined and announced prior to battle
    • Each Team Member must complete 1 exercise and must finish it before the next can begin
    • Each Team will pick 1 Timer and 1 Judge (cannot be from your Team) to time and judge their Team
    • Team Captains will flip coin to determine first pick of Judge and Timer
  • Round 3 (Final):
    • Winner of 1st Team vs. 4th Team goes ‘head-to-head’ against winner of 2nd Team vs. 3rd Team
    • Teams compete ‘head-to-head’ for first to complete Top 1-4 Exercises – Exercise order to be determined and announced prior to battle
    • Each Team Member must complete 1 exercise and must finish it before the next can begin
    • Each Team will pick 1 Timer and 1 Judge (cannot be from your Team) to time and judge their Team
    • Team Captains will flip coin to determine first pick of Judge and Timer
